nice – a familiar run that I haven’t done in far too long. Legs felt stiff at first, but loosened up. Stopped & walked once, stopped to stretch at about minute 14. Pushed for endurance rather than speed. The stretch video afterwards was grand. I’m coming back! |

Wow. Tallassee is WAY too dangerous. Cars are too fast and the shoulder steep (drops down right) and narrow. Took almost 9 minutes for a 1/2 mile because of constant stops for crazy drivers and bridges. Awful. Quailwood is pretty though! LOVELY shoulders, wide and grassy, pretty homes. Almost straight uphill the whole way. Cut it short – stayed on Quailwood until Whitehead, then back home. Not again…until the sidewalk extends farther! |
