Faster than yesterday, but not by much. Felt like I ran more than yesterday though. Maybe my running isn’t much faster than my walking- that would be embarrasing :) Quads feel huge. . not really what I was hoping for. Feels good when I’m done running though! |

Decided to run again since I bought some really cute running clothes on sale :). Noticing that the marathon is in 10 weeks may have moivated me furter :). Took Stevie- we were pretty good today. First day of doing 10 and 2- very helpful. May try longer route tomorrow. |

Had Stevie with me so stopped and got him water and let him play in the sprinklers. He also had to go to the bathroom three times so that made us a little slower. Consciously walked a fourth of it- was on the wrong side of the road- feelin out a new course. |

So I didn’t run for awhile, but now I’m back and that’s all that matters :). I was suppose to run a different, longer route today, but I feel so comfortable with my two mile one I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I’m trying to remind myself that the 2 mile route sucked at first too, but now I’m use to it and it doesn’t- that’s how the new 3 mile one will be some day soon. Anyway, took Stevie (that’s our dog) running with me today to inspire me back into the groove. (He isn’t use to much exercise). So there we were and he was doing great. We make it half way and right at the intersection of Laural Canyon and Magnolia (very busy) during rush hour he suddenly stops and takes a huge dump right on the concrete. Obviously, I didn’t have anything to clean it up with and so now I must drive back to get his poo. What a nice reward for making it through my run. At least my exercise is always eventful. . . . |

Ran on Elliptical machine in hotel in Omaha. MUCH easier to run on those things. Not even winded, absolutely no sweating at all- not even close. Could have easily gone longer- Lots easier on joints as well. Toes did feel numb- that was creepy but they are fine now. Had to wear two sports bras which slightly constricts my breathing however my chest still manages to flop around- HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE! |
