The complete running network (community of blogging runners, or running bloggers ) has a new “quick link” feature that is worth checking out. The first is a blog called fitsugar that stems from a network of “sugar” blogs. This blog in particular deals with health and fitness and is easily “digestible”. Not necessarily for the hard core nutritionist but some fun and interesting posts. The site looks to be aimed at women however, very fluffy.

The post that I thought was interesting was about a new site called shopittome.com that has a service that notifies you when your running shoes are on sale. I just recently bought a new pair of Asics DS Trainers and was wondering if this site would find the same deals I did by searching on google. It did, although the first site I viewed charged sales tax and the second did not. I went with the second site as the sale price of the shoes was the same. Interesting site, worth a look.

Another running community site that I’ve been reading lately is CoolRunning. A running enthusiast site that has some great info, forums, calculators, etc. Check it out!
