I'm getting training for a Marathon. On one training schdual it states to run a 20 miler. another states not to run a full 20 at on time. Which is recommended? Thanks on any help.
i always do at least 3 training runs of 20 miles or longer. i think 20 milers with a shorter distance run in between are essential for first time marathoners because it gives one a chance to feel what it's like to go that far.
