Funny how life truly is reflected in running, I find my self running to relieve stress or because I am really excited about something. Other times when I am facing a big decision I run (and Pray) I find when I face a big hill and determine that no matter how slow I am running I will not stop and walk I relate it to a challenge or goal of mine. Very often I have run to recover from an illness or surgery or to lose that baby weight, but mostly because I can in those miles conquer the hill, recover when breathless and press on until I find myself in a perfect rythmn and my mind at rest. I am now facing some big challenges and changes in my life and I find my self wanting to run again. I think there is something in us that wants to push the body to it potential, and over ride the objections of the mind which is usally begging to go home! As for me I am going to go with my heart on this one and run.

I RUN BECAUSE it makes me feel like I can do anything and everything in life;
I RUN BECAUSE it makes me feel like wonderwoman (as I always say);
I RUN BECAUSE I feel better about myself;
I RUN BECAUSE I cansurpass myself (within reasons of course);
I RUN BECAUSE…… I CAN !!!!! :-)
