Default shoes - 12-20-2006, 07:12 AM

What is the rule of thumb for running shoes? I bought a new pair when our training started, and everything is good with them, but how many miles should I put on them before I get a new pair? Will the pair I have make it through to the marathon? Thanks for all the info and advice!

If the shoes that you have now, are the ones you've started with, I would think it might be time to get a new pair! Running shoes, depending on the type, style, etc. may last between 400 to 600 miles.
