Spike Size and Shape

What difference do the size and shape of the spikes make? I run the 800, what size spikes would you suggest? Also, where would be a good place to get a spike heel attachment for high jump? Thanks.

The spikes determine on the track u run liek 1/4 in needles on a hard track and like 1/4 pyramds on a softer track and the heelcups can be bought from like M -f athletics and and shoe store online

Most Tracks have restrictions on spike size so, it all depends what track your running or jumping on

I run on a hard track that restricts 5mm to running and 7mm to jumping
