Post Daytime Protective Emulsion Does Not List SPF 15 - 12-13-2007, 12:22 AM

Unlike products classified as cosmetics, sunscreens are regulated as over-the-counter (OTC) drugs by the FDA. For regulatory reasons, USANA decided to move away from listing Daytime Protective Emulsion as a drug, which means we have gone from a drug formula to a cosmetic formula and have removed the SPF rating on the product.

The cosmetic formula will replenish your skin's essential moisture and help reduce the effects of daily exposure to the environment with Regenisomes and the antioxidant complexes--Proteo-C and Proflavanol-T. If you plan to spend a great deal of time outdoors, you may want to use a separate sunscreen product.

If you experienced good results with Daytime Protective Emulsion in the past, we're confident you will continue to enjoy the cosmetic formula as well.
