The RESET Games are in the home stretch. If you’re having trouble making it to the gym, follow these workplace workout tips that will keep you burning calories while on the job.
You’re more than halfway there! Keep going strong, because you’re on the home stretch. If you’ve had struggles with consistent exercise or healthy eating, there’s still time to get back on track. Don’t give up! If you don’t have time for exercise, here are a few tips that can help you on those days you just can’t make it to the gym:
Take the stairs at work, not the elevator - If you work on the 57th floor, walk up the first 2-3 floors, and then take the elevator the rest of the way. Increase amount of stairs you walk each day.
- Deliver messages in person, not just through e-mail
- Park at the far end of the parking lot
- Rather than coffee breaks, take a ten minute walk
- When relaxing at the end of the day, instead of lounging on the couch, sit on a fitness ball. You can watch TV while strengthening your core and lower back without doing any actual exercises.
